ABOUT ABOUT

The art 'scene' has always been an integral part of the Muslim community. Artists strived to emulate the beauty of the Divine and the next world in everyday life. Today, in a world focused on politics, war and economy, Muslims rarely seem to think about the relevance of art in our community. We invite you to come and discuss the following questions and anything else on your mind!

Is art by Muslims even important now?

Shouldn't we help our communities in other more important ways than producing art?

What can be described as art (whether it is fine art, photography, music or film) in the Muslim community?

Do artists who are Muslim have a responsibility towards Islam?

Do Muslims have a place in the current arts scene?
